RIOT!!!!!!!!!!

Went to British Invasion yesterday with Dayna, Davey and Terri. Saw two good bands, Naked Aggression and the Varukers. During the set of Broken Bones all hell broke loose. Didn't get to see Vice Squad, GBH, or Adicts. Fuckin bummer. The excitement of a riot semi made up for it.

So I was in the back sitting down during the set of Broken Bones. Dayna, Davey, and Terri found me. Chilled a while, and then Dayna and Davey left to go look for someone. Terri tells me she feels like shit and said it was because she inhaled so much gas. I said what? She said she saw a bunch of Nazi's in the rafters being dickheads and the cops kept tear gassing them to get them to calm down. There was an angry mob screaming FUCK WHITE POWER and that's when a minor riot broke out between nazis and the angry mob.

Allthe sudden Terri pulls me up and drags me running to the other side of the building and I look to see gas just pourrring in. I start to feel it in my eyes and nose and throat, so everyone starts runing like a herd of cows to the back of the door trying to get out. We get out and feel the birn. Kids are falling to their face all around us and we're all screaming how fucked up the pigs are.

So we go toward the back of the building and Dayna calls us and says their by the taco stand. We run toward the front and just get maced the fuck out of us. We run the other direction with tears streaming down our face and our lungs burning like shit. We stand around a while and kids are starting to kick over these HUGE pots about 4 ft tall 3 ft in diameter. And then they trow them into the glass doors and anywhere else they can brak shit. The fire engine rolls by and people throw all kinds of shit at it as it almost runs over a group of kids hauling ass out of there.

So we start heading out through the back - running to the street all the way around the track. We walk down the street talking shit about the stupid cops with whoever we were walking with at the time. The copters start flying around the perimeter yelling "You are ordered to leave the area!"

We get to jack in the box and more shit gets crazy. Terri calls Dayna and wants to leave ASAP. I was having fun watching all the chaos. Kids were throwing shit at random cars driving by. One guy threw a huge chair at a cop car and broke the window of the back seat as it drove by. People were throwing shit at the Jack in the box and all the other stores near by. All the windows got smashed at those joints. People were scared.

Finally we saw some kids light a dumpster on fire and huddling around it until finally one kid throw the fire breathing dumpster into the middle of the street. A big MAIN street. Cars were driving by not knowing what the hell to do. Some kid ran into the street of an oncoming cop car and threw something at the windshield and the cop tried running him over. I bet the cops were pissed we were having so much fun.

Then we see Dayna and Davey drive out and we flag 'em down and get in the car and watch a minute taking some pictures. Then when some kid started jumping on our car we decided it was best to leave. So we drove Heidi home and there she got a call from her friend that was still there and I guess two cop cars got FUCKED up and the cops got some MINOR injuries, the fuckheads. And some 14-year old girl got hit over the head with a club and some guy went up to the cops and yelled "HOW DOES IT FEEL TO MACE KIDS?!" and he got maced in the FACE. Fuckheads.

Then later the cops were starting to fire rubber bullets and those bean bag things. The cops began tasering people and just beatin the shit out of people. Of course the news played that off. Making the cops seem like fucking heros. You know fuck that, there were so many security guards and cops they could have stopped the Nazi riot without macing people. The only reason the riot started was because they gassed us and WE WERE PISSED! FUCK COPS! And if they wouldn't have used their gas, then that Nazi fight would have just been one more fight story we all have heard a million times and we would have been able to see the bands we wanted to see. But NO, those chicken-ship PRICKS had to get in there and bring the Riot Squad. And what'dya know some kids (nazis I hope) got stabbed. I know some people HAD to have died last night. SHIT. I'm going to read some articles I found and see what's up.

Anyway, as we got on the freway, you could look back and just see billowing smoke with copters circling it. Fucked up I tell you.
